What are temporary walls?

The high cost of Manhattan rent made the use of temporary walls very popular in the Big Apple. Before the use of these pressurized wall systems, it was very common for people to simply try dividing a room by using everything from curtains & screens to all sort of makeshift solutions. Not only did these DIY solutions look horrible, but they were also a pain in the butt to try to keep from falling.

Constructing normal walls was not even an option because most leases do not allow you to do so. And this is where pressurized walls came in to the rescue! You see these temporary room partitions look and feel just like real walls, but they are installed using pressure and not nails or adhesives therefore not causing any damage to existing walls, floors, and ceilings. A true win win situation for both tenants and landlords.
